Placement in pre-ELWR and ELWR-fulfilling courses is determined by the Writing Placement Survey (WPS). All ELWR unsatisfied first-year students who enroll at UC Davis should complete the Writing Placement Survey (WPS). To enroll in UWP 021, you must have a PATH1 placement on the Writing Placement Survey (WPS).
