Bio

Biography:

Bohdana Demchuk has been enjoying working in education for over 15 years. Dana earned her Master of Arts degree in Liberal Arts with emphasis on language and literature from California State University, Sacramento. While at CSUS, she also studied language acquisition and reading instruction to speakers of other languages, as a part of the University Certificate Program. Prior to that, Dana earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Davis, where she double-majored in International Relations and French. While earning her degrees, Dana worked for the state of California at the Department of Corrections and held her California Notary Public license. She joined the University Writing Program at UC Davis in 2015. She is multilingual and also speaks Ukrainian, French, and Polish. Outside of her profession, Dana enjoys reading, skiing, and trips to California Gold Coast with her family. Dana has served as the Assistant Director for EMS from 2021-2023.
