Opportunities and Writing Resources for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars

Though we don't yet have funding for a fully fledged Graduate Writing Center, the UWP and Graduate Studies are offering more and more resources that help graduates and post-docs become more effective scholars.  No, we won't edit or ghost-write your thesis or article, but our presentations can help get you working productively, and one-on-one consultations with trained professionals and Graduate Writing Fellows will provide individualized assistance.

Topics of regularly scheduled presentations and one-day events include:

  • Overcoming Writer's Block
  • Organizing and Revising for Graduate Students
  • Writing Scientific Papers
  • Grammar for Graduate Students
  • Demystifying the Dissertation
  • Dissertation Boot Camp
