About William Least Heat-Moon
William
Least Heat-Moon is a best-selling American author of numerous travel
and photography books. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri and holds
a doctorate in English and a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism from
the University of Missouri. His books include Blue Highways: A Journey Into America, PrairyErth (a deep map), River-Horse: Across America by Boat, and Roads to Quoz: An American Mosey. Heat-Moon lives in Columbia near the Missouri River.
