Biography:
Greg Glazner teaches UWP and English courses. His degrees are a B.A. in English, an M.A. in English, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing.
His books of poetry are From the Iron Chair and Singularity, both published by W.W. Norton. His awards include The Walt Whitman Award, the Bess Hokin Award from Poetry, and an N.E.A. Fellowship. His writing has appeared in Ploughshares, Poetry, The Colorado Review, Seneca Review, and many other magazines. A recent chapbook, Cellar Testament, is out from William Paterson University Press.
Greg plays electric guitar as well with bands in the Davis/Sacramento area. His collaboration with composer Garrett
Shatzer--Greg wrote the text and played guitar with the ensemble--premiered at the Center for New Music in San Francisco.
