DESCRIPTION: Abstracts often have strict deadlines and word limits, which can create challenges for graduate and postdoctoral mentors giving feedback on undergraduate writing. During this workshop, mentors will learn to: (1) develop a timeline for their students’ drafts; (2) help mentees define the scope of their research question(s); and (3) provide edits to satisfy word limits, without over-writing their students’ work.
