Types of Workshops

A TA Workshop can teach TAs and graders to:

* Grade papers and lab reports more consistently
* Write comments more efficiently and effectively
* Coach their students on the process of writing

A class visit can help your students:

* Respond to the specific tasks and challenges of the assignment
* Focus their research efforts efficiently
* Avoid plagiarism
* Adopt the conventions, formats and styles of the discipline
* Improve the overall quality of the written product
* Give each other more effective peer feedback on drafts.
