Associate Professor Sarah Perrault's article on language use and bioethics published in the American Journal of Bioethics

Associate Professor Sarah Perrault and four other members of the UC North Bioethics Collaboratory have had an article published in the American Journal of Bioethics in December. The article, “Editing" genes: A case study about how language matters in bioethics," argues for more precise language use in discussions of genome modification technologies. Professor Perrault and Professor Susan Verba of the Department of Design presented their collaborative work at the SIGDOC Conference in Limerick, Ireland, in July, the Design History Society conference in San Francisco in September, and the Western States Rhetoric and Literacy Conference in Tempe, Arizona in October.
