Brad Henderson's Rock 'n' Roll Novel Goes on Tour as an eBook
UWP Faculty Brad Henderson’s first novel has been re-released
on its 13th anniversary as a Kindle eBook.
The Phi Kappa Phi Award winning novel was originally published as a trade
paperback in 1997. Told from a drummer's
point of view—frequently from behind a kit of drums onstage—Drums: a Novel chronicles a small-time
80s rock band's run at making it big-time. Much of the book's story takes
place in and around mythical/picturesque Lake Tahoe, California-Nevada, where
the band strives to get the ultimate gig.
Not only does this story celebrate musicians who achieve commercial
success, but also the other 99.99% who give it their all, only to fall short
from attaining mega record deals and glitz-glam fame.
