Andy Jones Places Book Chapter in New Essay Collection on Teaching with Social Media
Andy Jones has recently had his book chapter, “How Twitter Saved my Literature Class: A Case Study with Discussion,” accepted for publication in the forthcoming book Teaching Arts and Science with the New Social Media, to be edited by Charles Wankel of St. John’s University. More than 120 chapter proposals were submitted to Professor Wankel, and relatively few were chosen for publication. Jones’s chapter will discuss how his students used the social networking website Twitter as a new forum for pre-class discussion in the Short Story class he taught for the Department of English last summer.
