Student Essay Contest on Academic Honesty and Integrity
(Funded by Student Judicial Affairs & ASUCD)
The Integrity Awards are part of an effort to bring awareness to issues surrounding Academic Dishonesty and Integrity
In order to apply for this award, you must be:
(1) an undergraduate student in good academic standing [2.0 GPA],
(2) a continuing student at UC Davis.
ALL majors are welcome.
Applicants are asked to address the following prompt in a personal statement which can be in an essay form or any other creative format.
"Reflect upon a personal experience that challenged your notion of"Integrity" and elaborate on how you responded to that situation." (Experiences may stem from social settings, academic, work, etc.)
Four prizes are available:
1st: $400
2nd: $300
3rd: $200
4th: $100

Winning essays may be published in the California Aggie Newspaper with
the author's consent.
We encourage creative entries of all kinds. ESSAY FORMAT IS NOT
REQUIRED. (Make a video, make a song, make an epic poem about your
experience, ANYTHING, just address the prompt appropriately.)
Deadline to apply is May 12, 2008.
